Partnering
XDx partners and collaborates with pharmaceutical and biotech companies, medical centers, and academic institutions in the development of biological markers for clinical trial use and companion diagnostic tests in the fields of immunology and transplant. We also seek global strategic partners to expand the reach of our in-market products.
Global Commercial Promotional Opportunities for AlloMap®
XDx is currently looking for global commercial partners to market and sell its patented and cleared AlloMap® Molecular Expression Test. AlloMap offers physicians a non-invasive tool to aid in the management of acute transplant rejection in heart transplant patients. AlloMap has been commercially available in the USA since 2005 and was cleared by the FDA in 2008. AlloMap is recommended as part of the guidelines for the care of heart transplant patients issued by the International Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation.
XDx is seeking to engage with life science companies that have existing commercial infrastructure covering cardiologists in Europe, Asia, the South Pacific and Latin America and that are looking for a patented, high value recurring diagnostic test to promote.
Diagnostic Test Collaboration Opportunities
Pharmaceutical and biotech companies are increasingly embracing the notion of personalized medicine and drug treatment regimens that are tailored to the genetic makeup and variability between patient subgroups or even individuals. This approach promises to allow for a more efficient performance of clinical drug development studies and to support providing “the right drug to the right patient” through the use of companion diagnostic tests.
XDx is well positioned to lead the development of biological markers for use in clinical trials and in the development and commercialization of companion diagnostic tests in immune-mediated diseases and organ transplant. We have unique scientific and medical expertise in the areas of transplant medicine and autoimmunity. XDx has demonstrated the application of this expertise in an established commercial product, AlloMap, and has existing collaborations with leading pharmaceutical companies.
