Patient Advocacy
XDx has a dedicated team of insurance experts available to assist in resolving AlloMap billing-related issues. The Patient Advocacy team works with patients, clinicians and payors to obtain positive reimbursement through accurate billing and appeals. The Patient Advocacy team can assist with the following:
- Assist with patient interpretation of insurance explanation of benefits (EOB).
- Obtain prior authorization from insurance companies.
- Review benefits to ensure accurate billing.
- Navigate through the insurance appeals process (this includes obtaining appropriate information for appeals).

Coverage
XDx has dedicated Patient Advocacy Managers partnering with insurance companies to obtain positive coverage for AlloMap testing. Currently, Medicare and some private payors pay for AlloMap testing. In specific cases, assistance from the transplant clinician and patient are needed to obtain payment from payors. If appropriate, a member of the Patient Advocacy team may contact you for assistance.
